Position   Compliance Verification Stress Engineer
Activities   Our client is a leader in the Aerospace and Defence industries.
Education  
Experience  
Responsible for the static design of primary structure and the assessment of complex supporting structures and components for aircraft as well as changes including the compliance verification according to the certification requirements of the aviation authorities.
 
Examination and approval of all design records and compliance documentation as defined in the Type Investigation Programme, regarding technical accuracy and implementation of the certification requirement.
Examination and approval of technical specifications, data sheets, standards, manufacturing methods and test procedures, as well as maintenance and operating instructions.
 
 Technical assessment of damage reports, with regards to effects on aviation safety, definition of repair solutions and modification of restoration of aviation safety and examination, and approval of the necessary documents in co-operation with the Office of Airworthiness.
Responsible for the evaluation of modifications and deviation in terms of the effects on certification documentation.
 
Responsible for including the Office of Airworthiness in all instances concerning safety aspects and continued airworthiness.
 
Degree after four years of studies at an establishment of higher education in the field of mechanical engineering specialising in aerospace technology / general mechanical engineering / design / lightweight construction.
 
Several years of experience in the design, calculation, qualification and certification of primary structures specially on Airbus aircraft.
 
Very good command of MS Office applications, calculation software (NASTRAN/PATRAN, ISSY/ASSACOS)
 
Fluently in oral and written English
