Within our clients growth strategy they are looking for an experienced and committed “Compliance Verification Engineer Fatigue”, who with his/her outstanding expertise participates significantly in the development of their new conversion programme resulting in the approval by European and international authorities.
Responsible for the fatigue design of new primary structure and the fatigue assessment of complex supporting structures and components for aircraft as well as major changes including the compliance verification according to the certification requirements of the aviation authorities.
Examination and approval of all fatigue related design and compliance documentation as defined in the Type Investigation Programme, regarding technical accuracy and implementation of the certification requirements.
Examination and approval of fatigue related technical specifications, data sheets and test procedures.
Technical assessment of major damage reports, with regards to fatigue requirements and possible effect on safety.
Responsible for the evaluation of modifications and deviations in terms of fatigue requirements and the effects on the certification documentation.
Responsible to inform the Office of Airworthiness in all matters concerning safety and continued airworthiness.
Degree after four years of studies at an establishment of higher education in the field of mechanical engineering specialising in aerospace technology/ general structure design and calculation.
Several years of experience in fatigue calculation, qualification and certification of primary structures specially on Airbus aircraft.
Very good command of MS-Office applications and calculation software.
Fluent in oral and written English
Able to work in and/ or to lead teams
