Our client is a small firm that focus on providing innovative solutions to the water sector developed through strong client relationships of mutual trust and respect and a commitment to quality and sustainability.

The work will be based in New Zealand with about 5% travel to Australia. Our client is getting more known in their industry and will soon have an office in Australia.

The Successful candidate will have to demonstrate most (but not all) of the following:

Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline
10+ years experience in the water industry

Design experience with water industry equipment and processes

Be familiar with NZ and AS standards relating to mechanical equipment

Be an experienced project manager
Excellent organisation skills

Proven communication skills both written and verbal

Excellent computer skills with Microsoft Office products

The ability to work effectively individually or within a group

The ability to mentor junior engineers
