Our client has grown into one of the largest structural engineering firms in Canada, specializing in the structural design and restoration of buildings. They are seeking a Senior Project Technologist or Engineer focusing on Building Science for their Edmonton office. |

Responsibilities:Manage projects from conceptual design to final completion.Manage team of Engineers and Technologists. Develop and maintain client base.Site investigation of building envelope failure.Building envelope consultation on new construction. Preparation of financial studies / life cycle costing for buildings Formulate building envelope rehabilitation programs and recommend project concept.Coordination with other engineering and architectural disciplines Contract administration/construction review while implementing work. Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in civil engineering or technology program. Previous experience in building science.Experience in hygrothermal modeling, glazing and wall cladding design, and swing stage or bosun?s chair are assets. Skills: Effective and proven leadership skills.Demonstrated and effective communication skills ? both written and verbal. Ability to conceptualize in three dimensions. Aptitude for working with existing facilities. |
